TENTATIVE SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT
2006- 2007
Educational Support Professional (ESP) Salary
1.
The School Board of
Hillsborough County Public Schools and Hillsborough Classroom Teachers
Association agree to provide an increase of one level for all employees
currently on Levels 1-31.
2.
The School Board
of Hillsborough County Public Schools and Hillsborough Classroom Teachers
Association agree to provide a 3% adjustment to all salary Levels 1-32.
3.
The School Board
of Hillsborough County Public Schools and Hillsborough Classroom Teachers
Association agree to a one time 2% bonus to ESP employees on Level 32 who are ineligible for a Level increase.
4.
The School Board
of Hillsborough County Public Schools and Hillsborough Classroom Teachers
Association agree to provide one additional work day for school based ESE
Attendants, increasing their work year from 190 days to 191 days, effective
2007-2008 school year. (Will allow participation in one day of Pre-planning)
5.
The School Board
of Hillsborough County Public Schools and Hillsborough Classroom Teachers
Association agree to provide a differentiated pay schedule (5% increase in base
salary) for instructional support personnel who have met Highly Qualified
requirements and who are currently assigned or transfer to a Renaissance
school.
6.
The District will
pay the cost of fingerprinting 963 employees in 2006 – 2007 (approximately 25
percent of existing employees).
